Over a two-year partnership, we reshaped how Pace positioned itself, defining a bold brand narrative, refining its pitch strategy, and embedding a messaging framework that resonated with both clients and investors.
Through research, we uncovered a powerful insight: Pace wasn’t just about systems or efficiency - it was about unlocking the full potential of an organisation’s greatest asset: its people. Most businesses unintentionally suppress autonomy through rigid systems and processes. Pace set out to change that. Rooted in psychological principles of autonomy, mastery, and relatedness, we helped establish a new positioning: “Harnessing Human Autonomy.”
This strategy was brought to life through a bold, distinctive visual identity that broke away from sector norms and gave the brand a confident, ownable voice. One pitch—anchored by a simple yet powerful fish tank metaphor—won a major account. The impact was transformative: Pace scaled from £2m to £15m, achieving 257% CAGR and earning a spot among the top 20 fastest-growing companies in Europe, as ranked by The Times.
